A consistent quality bar, instead of awards
Kimor is still a young roastery — we don't have a competition trophy, but we do have internal quality standards we hold every batch to with the same rigor. Rather than a trophy, we choose to share this bar transparently.
No new batch of beans enters our collection without scoring at least 85 out of 100 in our pre-roast cupping protocol.
Every roast batch is independently tasted by at least three people on our team before going to service, checking for consistency.
The origin and harvest season of every single-origin coffee we sell is documented; we share this information on the product pages.

A competition trophy shows the performance of a single day, a single batch. Our priority is that every batch — competition or not — hits the same bar. So instead of waiting for outside approval, we choose to openly share our own standard here and hold ourselves to it.
We plan to enter national barista and roasting competitions.
We want to go through evaluation processes from organizations like the Specialty Coffee Association.
When we win a real award, this page will be updated — until then, we don't claim an achievement we don't have.
